A Note on Microneedling During Weight Loss

Three sessions across face, neck, and décolleté, spaced four to six weeks apart, give your skin time to rebuild collagen in every area at once. This is the most thorough plan we offer for clients who want a true head-to-chest reset.

Downtime & Aftercare
Expect some redness for about 24–48 hours and possible light flaking as your skin renews. Most clients feel comfortable returning to normal activities the next day. We’ll send you home with simple, clear aftercare your provider walks you through.
Microneedling FAQs
We apply a strong topical numbing cream before treatment, so most clients feel only light pressure or a prickly sensation. The forehead and around the bony areas of the face can feel slightly more intense, but the full treatment is usually well tolerated.
Absolutely (and it’s one of our favorite pairings)! As your body changes on a GLP-1, microneedling supports collagen so your skin can keep up. Many of our weight loss patients add it to their plan.
Initial brightness and smoother texture often show up within the first week as inflammation settles. The deeper collagen-building results build over four to six weeks. Your provider will set realistic expectations for your skin and goals.

SkinPen® is a sterile, FDA-cleared medical device used in a clinical setting with single-use, surgical-grade cartridges. At-home rollers don’t reach the depth needed to stimulate real collagen production and carry a much higher risk of infection or scarring. The two aren’t comparable.
